Strategy

Overall Strategy

Appearance: The new and improved Pizzeria Serio website will be a clean design using mainly the brand colors of black and white with pops of red that emphasizes the sophistication of this restaurant compared to other pizzerias.
Main Strategy Points: The website will include a more clear and more simple call to action that immediately encourages consumers to order online from Pizzeria Serio. We also plan to highlight Pizzeria Serio’s unique value proposition that they specialize in east coast/NY style pizza and they also have the capabilities to host private parties.
Pages: The website will consist of the main home page that holds most of the content and information that a user will need. There will be 4 other navigation items. These extra pages will allow for increased SEO and reduce the amount of text and content on the homepage that may overwhelm the user. Pizzeria Serio’s competitors currently have a larger content footprint with their websites, so more than 1 page will help with competing in SEO. There will be a menu navigation tab users can use to see the menu in an easy manner. There will be a private party page for additional information. There will be an about page for additional information that will establish credibility for the restaurant. The 4th navigation item is for online ordering.
Additional Features:
- An interactive map to encourage customers to visit the restaurant and make it easy to navigate.
- A preview of Pizzeria Serio’s Instagram feed to encourage users to connect with their Instagram and highlight recent food items and special events.
Footer: The footer will be an easy place to find the restaurant’s contact information, address, hours of operation, and social media.
